Homemade polish!
So I have finally had the time to go down into my nail polish 'studio' (aka to a table in the basement) and play around with some of the powders and glitters I have. It is even more fun that I was expecting! I'm also realising pretty fast some of the colours I am missing out on (like black! I have black glitter but no black powder how is it possible I missed it!) and am saving up for my next order of supplies!
I currently have five polishes made up that I am exploring to see if I'm happy with them, I think one of them is definitely a reject but the others I'm liking the look of so far! Today I am wearing a dusky pink colour with a black glitter top coat. I love the combination of them and it is so exciting to be wearing my own nail polish! <3

My first homemade polish!
My first attempt at making my own nail polish! I used some clear polish mixed with various eye shadow dusts I had knocking around. I am so excited about how it looks!

I couldn't resist adding a stamp and used this cute wavy line/dot pattern from Bundle Monster plate 20.

Zebra stripes
I am so happy with how well this turned out! The pink is Sally Hansen Extreme Wear in Bubblegum, I wasn't overly keen with how the polish turned out on nails but when I added the zebra stripes (Bundle Monster plate 16) I am in love! It turned out so well and I think my best effort at stamping yet.

In the pink
I've been searching for a baby pink nail varnish for a little while now and still haven't found the perfect shade. I found a Wet N Wild Shine polish in Tickled Pink. It's almost the colour I'm after but it needed three coats to get an even finish so not very impressed with it at all.
I stamped some flowers over the top (Kondad plate m21) which I was much more enamoured with. <3 my nail plates!
